3.4 Install Antennas

The EZR33 use MIMO antennas on both mobile and Wi-Fi connections.

3.4.1 - Default Omni Antennas

There is a total of four antenna sockets on the EZR33 router. All of them are waterproof N-female connectors.

When installing the antennas, put router and antennas in a vertical or horizontal direction to avoid bending the pins in the antenna connector. Twist the N-male connector on antennas in the clockwise direction to install the antennas on the router. Make sure the connection is tight.

The two flat sides on the default Omni antennas have a higher performance. Please adjust the antenna array as the below image shows to receive a better signal and avoid the interferences between antennas.

3.4.2 - Upgraded Antennas

To connect to other mobile or WiFi antennas, make sure these antennas having N-male connectors. You can use MIMO antenna or single-polarized antenna on the router.

If upgrade the mobile antenna, connect the main antenna port or single-polarized antenna on the socket of mobile main, the left one on the top side.
